devil's creek.

On the way home from Utah we stopped at Devil's creek (a reservoir just outside of malad, idaho) to slide on the frozen ice. Pretty sketchy getting on the lake because the shore was starting to melt... and maybe we fell in to our ankles a couple of times, but it was well worth it:

Welcome to my really awkward photos of us (mostly me) sliding on the ice. note to self: do more random things like this.

provo. again.

Once again, I found myself in Provo for the weekend. This time my sister in law and I wanted to take pictures at the bottom of the Y mountain and up rock canyon:

Most random experience yet. These guys thought I was taking my senior pictures (no dudes, im actually in college but thanks anyways) and wanted to take a photo. Mehh, why not?

And then somehow our mini photo shoots always turn into really awkward photos. kick punches? hair flips? obviously. Not to mention those guys above were watching us the whole time... Buuut next time I go down to Utah: Holi Festival of Colors (!)

the weekend.

I flew back home to washington for presidents day weekend. well, not exactly home...

I got to explore where he's from for the first time. And spend time with him. It was pretty freaking fantastic and kind of exactly what I needed. uhm, can it be spring semester now so we can both be at school?

pretty much candy cookies.

Last week I made these amazing cookies and I think I need to share them. I finished my homework early and I didn't have money to actually buy treats, so my roommates and I gathered our ingredients to make cookies. Except these aren't normal chocolate chip cookies. Actually, no chocolate chips required:

These cookies include: twix, mini reeses peanut butter cups, and milky way(!) Currently eating one (or two) while typing this. And I have a feeling i'll be making more this week....

procrastination at its finest.

cardigan- urban outfitters. dress- target. scarf- thrifted. boots- steve madden.

I've been putting off my homework for some time today. I have, however, managed to donate plasma, check pinterest 2,670 times, take pictures downtown, and eat 3+ bowls of cereal. Currently staring at my computer while listening to Lana Del Rey... this is progress though, right?

a whole new twist on s'mores.

this is what i was up to last night:

Even though it was (get ready) 11 degrees out last night, a few friends and I decided to go to the St. Anthony sand dunes and make a fire. Our little feet were way cold, but we had a good time talking about chemistry (which has taken over our lives), upcoming music festivals, and paranormal stories. Our typical conversations. My favorite part: roasting reeses s'mores(!) and melting starbursts. SO. good.
