half way there.

We made it to Wallace! And my succulent, too (I'm determined to bring it back to school without breaking). It's definitely winter here; there are icicles hanging from our roof and the trees are topped with snow. We walked around town for a bit and got huckleberry pancakes for dinner and finished the night watching Downton Abbey. The perfect day with my mom, really. I'm half way to school and making the rest of the drive tomorrow.

Have a happy weekend! I'll be back on Monday with loads of photos :)

  15. Looks freezing! Glad you made it safely. Props too for keeping your succulent so healthy. I started with 5 plants a year and a half ago and am down to 3 pathetic looking, barely hanging on to life, little suckers.

  16. Um, huckleberry pancakes? YUM!!! Your succulent looks awesome. I have one on my work desk and it has died and had to be revived more times than I'd like to admit. Love the blog!!

And love the last shot with the contrast between the colorful lights and the grey mountain in the background. :)
