nostalgia.

That bright sky and those green trees. Idaho, I miss you already. I'm feeling nostalgic for a place I haven't even left yet. Tomorrow I'm driving back to Seattle where I'll be living for the fall and I'm having mixed emotions. Happy, anxious, a little bit nervous. Wish me luck on this 14 hour venture home!

  13. I'd be anxious about getting back to Seattle, too. Only because the Northwest Summer always comes to an abrupt in mid-August down here on the Oregon coast - and then it's nothing but rain. Safe travels, girl!

  17. I just got back to my college town. I missed my home town before I even hit the road, so I can completely identify. I miss my little brother Jack and may have cried...a lot. Soak it up, every emotion (nostalgia, happiness, relief, sadness) and just embrace everything as it comes. I figure that's just the best way to go about everything these days.
