We found this giant leaf close to home and I promise it's not an illusion. It's really autumn guys, and I'm feeling gooood changes ahead. I'm getting ahold of my emotions and feeling super optimistic about my future in general (agh so cliché). I have 'on and off' days where I feel closed off and extremely sensitive and don't like talking about what's going on in my life but it's just so much easier tell people (and yourself) how you feel. I didn't realize I couldn't talk about my feelings until I heard people talking behind my back about it. But I'll have you know that I'm extremely happy and that's really all I can ask for.
It is sometimes scary to really express what you feel but believe me it is worth it. This really makes everything easier and clearer, and helps the communication process with others :)

Sometimes after I've gone over how I'm feeling in my head and had a kind of conversation with myself about it, I just can't be bothered to go through it all again with someone else... I don't think it makes you a closed book, just efficient with your time? :)

I'm the exactly same way. and sometimes i forget that people can't hear everything that's going on in my brain. "y-you mean I actually have to explaain it?" so yeah.

ReplyDeleteand yes i have those on and off times too... 1 day i'm all positive and optimistic, the other i just feel like shutting off from the world. (in fact today i bailed on dinner to just come home and have some quiet time... i do that sometimes)
but i guess that's part of figuring things out as a young adult... and also you can always share your thoughts and feelings with all your blogger friends here - it helps! :)
