saturday night reading.

Was really in the mood for some good books today so a few friends and I decided to venture into Idaho Falls at a used book store. And it felt so good. I haven't read a book just for fun since I've been at school, and now that the semester is almost at an end, I'm finding a little bit more time to do things other than school work.

I picked up a classic read: Catcher in the Rye. I read it in junior high and loved it, so I kind of want to read it again. Normally I never read books twice (for some reason I can't explain), but this book is an exception. I also picked up this book called The Road Less Traveled; all about spiritual growth in an age of anxiety. I've read a few pages so far and its pretty enlightening.

note to self: so it's a saturday night, and really i only feel like snuggling in a quilt and reading on the couch. maybe watch a couple of christmas movies. Holden Caulfield here I come.

  7. I so know this feeling dude. When you want to read something of your choosing. It was my main focus upon graduating and this past summer when I was working and not in classes. I frequented my local library like a woman possessed reading and reading. The Hunger Games started my reading craze in April then in May I read Fifty Shades of Grey (and I REALLY wish I had not done that to myself) then I read Divergent and its sequel Insurgent (crazy good books) then I read Incarnate and Drift!! And so many others. I was a reading freak but I loved it so much. To sit down with a coffee and read a compelling story. Theres nothing else like it.
