After our classes yesterday we went straight to the metro and took it to the last stop in Suzhou called Mudu. We went for a quick hike up Lingyan Hill; a famous sacred mountain known for the rock formations and incredible views. When we got up there I was in shock at how large Suzhou is! We could literally see the entire city; and even spotted our apartment in the mix of it all! Plus, it was a weeknight so there weren't many people up there. I can tell this will be the first of many hikes up here...

note to self: pack a lunch and have a picnic date up here.
