is this even college?

This week has been a crazy blur. The water broke here at Badger Creek, so we stayed at a ranch for a few days about a half hour away, and basically just relaxed in the green grass and wheat fields because there was no internet to do homework. But the water is fixed now. And hopefully permanently, because this isn't the first time that's happened up here...

I don't think I've ever seen so many wheat fields before. Not that we have a ton of them in Washington, but these fields make me terribly homesick. I can't tell if it's a good or bad thing.

Lo and I explored the ranch at night and discovered these haystacks and proceded to dance on them and then take photos:
And then I edited them a bunch.

The land that BYUI owns here is huge! So we discover something new everyday:

And then we come up with semi-crazy ideas like sleeping on the things we discover in 30 degree weather where we are completely open to the wilderness prone to bears and moose:

In the middle of the night, we heard a huge pack of coyotes that were howling what seemed like less than 30 feet away. Pretty incredible/scary/cool experience.

note to self: I still can't get over how amazing it was to sleep on that deck. Ginny saw her first shooting star and it happened to be the biggest shooting star I've seen in my life! Not kidding, the sky here guarantees at least one shooting star a night. I think we might sleep under the stars agin tonight. Is this even college?

  3. OMG I want to camp in a high hide thing like that out all night hearing the wild. Maybe becoming a bit of the wild. Oh it is all so romantic and life changing I'm sure. All the hiking and team/person building.
