Last week we went on a girls trip to New York City! I loved spending time with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Girl trips are kind of the best, right?
^^Times Square at night. There were SO many people but all of the city lights are amazing.^^
^^We took a ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. We actually got to go to the top of the Statue of Liberty which was neat.^^
^^High Line near Chelsea, NY. It's a raised paved walkway where the train tracks used to be.^^
^^Walking along the High Line.^^
^^We discovered this drinking fountain on the High Line, haha.^^
^^"Life was so much easier when we sat on the MET steps" -Blair Waldorf. While we were riding bikes through Central Park we had to stop at the MET for the obligatory Gossip Girl photo. I actually started watching Gossip Girl from Season 1 and I can't stop watching it...^^
^^The MOMA is free on Fridays so we were all in. I've never seen Andy Warhol's art before so it was unreal seeing it in person. The Marilyn Prints were definitely the highlight of the MOMA for me.^^
^^Dylan's Candy Bar. No candy should ever cost as much as theirs, but I love that the stairs are made out of candy and everything is so colorful in there^^.
New York is high up on my list for good food. We ate NY style pizza, tried out small cafes/diners, had pastries from Magnolia Bakery (we basically ate our way through New York).
Not pictured: Gigi show on Broadway, the 9/11 Memorial/Museum, and riding bikes through Central Park.
I ♥ NY!

Looks like such a fun trip!! Wish I could have been there!
ReplyDeleteAh I'm so excited, I'm going to NY for the first time ever in August! How long were you there for? We have 4 days and I want to cram in as much as possible! xxx

We were there for 4 days too. We planned our days pretty well so we were out ALL day to explore and we got mostly everything done off of our list. Have fun!!
